Stamping Guide Overlay

Hello Makers! You’ve asked, and we’ve heard you! We’ve created a printable DIY Stamping Guide Overlay. We hope that this will act as a training guide as you continue to find your own unique style in stamping and in creating meaningful conversation. Below, you can download a guide overlay to tape onto your stamping base, and if you do not have access to a printer, we have also included instructions to draw in your own guide-lines. Happy stamping!

Print the Stamping Guide Overlay

  1. Click to Print PDF File
  2. Cut out the wing-shaped overlay.
  3. Tape the wing-shaped overlay to stamping base (see images below)
  • Be sure to align the straight edges so that the center line is going through the middle of the stamping base.

Always stamp using the center line, rotating the token to the left:

When stamping a WORD on top, be sure to rotate the stamping base as pictured below:

Marking your own lines (if you don’t have a printer)

2. Line ruler up to edge marks are mark center at 2.3 cm

3. Create a straight line from the mark to the bottom of the stamping base

4. Measure .3 cm from center line and mark on either side.

5. Measure 1.8 from the top edge mark and mark.

6. Measure .6 cm from center line and mark on both right and left.
